FAQ
How many residents would I be caring for? You would be caring for 2-3 of our residents. The ratio is 2 staff to 3 clients. You may be offered the opportunity to work in other homes as the need may arise.
What type of care do you provide? Assisting with bathing, cooking meals, administration of medication, community activities, house cleaning…to name a few duties. Keeping everyone safe, healthy, and happy. Helping people make a choice.
Do I need experience to apply? No, we do on-site training. You will receive First Aid, CPR, and Medication Administration training. Training usually takes approximately 30 days for which you are paid. Pay rates are based on experience.
Why do I need a car? A vehicle is required because you may need to take a client to activities or appointments during your shift. We do reimburse for mileage.
What benefits do you offer? We currently offer 2 types of medical plans, dental, and life insurance. We have a pension plan, which M-5 contributes to annually. We offer sick and vacation time.
